Shepherd Insurance opened its first Illinois office in Carmi, IL., in January 2018.
In May 2022, First Insurance Agency joined forces with Shepherd Insurance and their Carmi team moved into our office location. First Insurance has been protecting local families and businesses since 1999, and while their name has changed, the service they offer will remain the same.
Shepherd Insurance is one of the 50 largest independent agencies in the country. We bring the “big city” agency capabilities to the small town, without losing the “small-town feel.” This allows us to have countless opportunities for your business’s insurance needs. We offer Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and Employee Benefits, specializing in the Oil and Gas and Farm/Agriculture industries.
