Shepherd Insurance Wins Top Awards
Shepherd Insurance is excited to announce four major award designations that acknowledge their dedication to the individuals and organizations they serve.
On July 25, Shepherd Insurance was recognized by the Indianapolis Business Journal as one of the fastest growing businesses in Indiana. Coming in at #17 on the list, Shepherd is flattered to be ranked as one of IBJ’s Fast 25 among the 2019 Fastest Growing Companies in the Indianapolis area. The list is published annually and ranks companies based on their three-year revenue growth. In addition, Shepherd recently earned the rank of 3683 on the 2019 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. Shepherd has been featured on the list for the last 6 years and joins an elite group of companies.
In early August, the company was named one of the top 50 Independent Property/Casualty Agencies in the country according to the Insurance Journal Top 100 Independent P/C Agencies report. This is the first time that Shepherd has ranked among the top 50 agencies, coming in at #43 – up from #51 in 2018. The report is published on an annual basis and ranks agencies on total revenue. The list features agencies whose business is primarily retail, not wholesale.
To top it all off, Shepherd was honored to receive recognition as one of the industry’s Top Insurance Workplaces by Insurance Business America. This year, Shepherd Insurance ranks #1 among mid-size agencies and second overall with an average employee satisfaction rating of 94.4%. Only 53 agencies made the distinctive list this year, being recognized by their employees in regard to compensation and benefits, diversity, employee development and culture.
“We are proud to be recognized by these prestigious publications for our continual focus on servicing our customers” said Quinn Shepherd, Managing Partner of Shepherd Insurance. “Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team members, plus the trust and loyalty of our customers, we are thrilled to be recognized as a leader among the top independent agencies in the country and our home state of Indiana.”
